This research is the result of a collaborative effort between academics and practitioners. 

ReHousing, began in 2022 as a collaboration between the architecture faculty at the University of Toronto, Tuf Lab and LGA Architectural Partners to address this issue. The project combines structured design research methods with practice-based knowledge. This research involved consultation with engineers, industry partners, code consultants, advocates for equity, and city agencies. Explore some of our research here:
